Straight up the middle about 220yds. And though I lost my match today I was about 4 under my CH after 18 and lost it on the 20th giving a shot on a long par four that I couldn't reach in two today. Ah well. Pleased with my play even though that’s me out the winter singles K/O.

Straight down the fairway with a 5 iron on the Hotchkin. It was a bit scruffy and a touch thin but it ended up about 200 yards down there.

Straight down the middle, apparently a lovely draw.... didn’t see a second of the flight. Felt like a massive push but must have beamed it as I hit the first in 2 (par5)

6 iron, about 20 yards shorter than normal, and about 20 yards offline to the right, but not in the trees so all good. bit right with the second but a chip on and rattled the flag with my first putt. tap in bogey. All in all, a happy 9 holes after 6 weeks off!

Well after this, and a really decent 9 holes on weds I was looking forward to today for my first 18. Went for an easy hybrid rather than squeezing driver. Topped it. 80 yards. Went straight though!

On the plus side you weren't playing well before lockdown so at least you've come straight back to the same level.
