Two WGC events gone and no American winners, first time that has happened.

Matt Kuchar looks better than any of the rest.

Only 3 Americans in the top 10 of the world rankings.

Is 2010 going to be a year when no American wins a Major and they lose the Ryder Cup?

If that did happen, would it be good or bad for golf?

It depends if Tiger comes back !! It wouldnt be a bad thing. I heard the commentators say how great the PGA tour has become with the influx of different nationalities. I hate the way the Americans see the WGC's as its own event as opposed to a co-sanctioned one with the European tour.

Matt Kuchar and Bill Haas look promising and Antony Kim has been playing OK. With this in mind, and given that Stewart Cink and Mickleson are proven major winners, I'm not seeing the Ryder cup as a given.

Just a blip. Phil Mick has 2 drivers and couldn't hit a fairway with either one, but he will probably get a bollocking from Butch Harmon and wise up. They still have a lot of good players who will win most of the US based events.

I believe the europeans are going to set very high standards this year they seem to have the bit between there teeth, also i can see one of them winning a major or two, heres hoping. As for the americans they seem flat great for the ryder cup.

I think that come the majors there will be at least one American right in the middle of the action and I can't see how their Ryder Cup team won't be fired up and competitive. I think it is more a testament to the quality worldwide now and the experience these guys are getting of regularly playing against the best in the world and so improving their game
