when is the right time to cut yourself ??

I went out today to Mardyke Valley GC and shot a very pleasing 83 (par 70 41 points off 18). On my last 4 rounds at different courses I have scored 35 35 29 29 then todays 41. Im wondering when the right time to reduce your handicap would be ?? Not that I should necessarily

You cant. Your handicap can only be reduced by playing in comps/medals or submitting supplementary cards.

I guess you are just tracking your scores yourself? Maybe use an online tracker but if you are a member you need to play qualifying comps to get cut.

You only shot above 36 once, in a comp it would of got you a cut, but depending on the CSS possibly not much.

If you're playing for fun then just work out an average h/cap for your past 10 rounds.
