Started playing in the late 90s and after about two months HiD bought me a Ping Sedona putter for Father's Day.

Been in my bag ever since and can't see me ever changing it.

My current putter. Never compromise gambler flush, with counter balanced grip. This is the bizzo. Love it so much.

Except when I put like a gimp.

^^^This, only I replaced it with a Titleist 909 that I couldn't hit a barn door with it.

My G10 gave me so much confidence. All of the mates I had played with for years said they had never seen me drive so well.
I stupidly replaced it when the G15 came out, because of course the newer club had to be better didn't it. It was obvious to anyone with half a brain.
I'd only used it a couple of times when Murph clapped eyes on it.
"That sits closed" he said.
"No it doesn't" came my reply.
"It does" he argued. "That definitely sits closed"
From that day on, I never (ever) found the middle or right hand side of the fairway.
The left hand semi/rough became my friend.
I got shot of it about 6 months later, and got an i15.
Much better.

Back in the good old days it was my set of Hogan Apex irons with persimmon driver......won the Spring Meeting with a gross 70 at my club...I was off 7 at the time so a net 63! Sold them in Malaysia for 90 quid and bought a set of King Cobras...duhhhh!

Replaced them in six moths with a set of Mizuno Pros...my second favorite set.

Now its my G30 3 and 5 woods....cant miss with them!

Without doubt my Titleist 910 d2 driver. It's cut down to play at 43.5 inches in x flex and is an absolute fairway finder. Not as long distance wise probably lose 10-20 yards but I am always getting new drivers that woo me with distance but keep returning to old faithful.

Haha there's nothing worse when a voice of doom puts something in your head.

I was hitting my G10 arrow straight and I've never hit another driver better, I still keep an eye out for the same specc'd G10. After a few trials of drivers I ended up with the i15 as well.

Bearing in mind the i15 was set up "open" it didn't go too badly.
I now have a Nike Covert 2.0 and have also set that up "open".
Works for me.
;)

never really become attached to an inanimate object especially golf clubs.
so no real friend has ever been found.if pushed then probably my Titleist dead centre putter, its an anser design and i have had it probably the longest i have ever owned a club .and im not a serial club changer at all .i still have the same set of irons in my bag as when i started back about ten years ago.i bought a starter set and they have just taken root i think.

I foolishly changed my G10 for a G15, and should have bought another G10. I ended up with an i15. And so started the round of changing drivers. I've had a SLDR for a while, and it's goes reasonably well but requires a lot of work to perform.

a new Cobra F6+ with a shaft upgrade arrives Tuesday.

I changed my G10 for a G15 as well. G10 replaced my persimmon driver, so it had to be an improvement. Didn't get on with the G15, so sold it to a mate who loves it. Cured his fade with the closed club face.;)

My Odyssey Marxman Mini. Absolutely love that putter. God help me if I ever lose it!
On to grip number 4 shortly

What is the club that you have either loved in the past or love right now

Has there been a club you wished you had never sold or one that you will never sell or upgrade

For me it's my current driver - tried loads and not one has beaten it for me

I have two.

My current odyssey V-Line putter and my old 910H 19° hybrid.

It was so good it was replaced with a 913H same loft when it got tatty.

Ping G5 Driver with a stiff Aldila shaft, the green one. I sold it for £60 and always regretted it. Also have a Wilson Staff Dh6 hybrid with a proforce v2 shaft that I seem to hit better than any other hybrid I try.

Damn! After having a few knocks with it I was hoping it'd end up on your huge naughty step shortly after :)

What huge naughty step is this you speak of

I've actually got rid of all my spare clubs, got the 14 in the bag and maybe a new driver soon ;)

Putter is going nowhere though, all that trying of different ones was worth it in the end

Taylormade Rescue Dual - fantastic club, easy as anything to hit - no idea why I got rid of it?

Another nod to G10 . I had the whole range and loved it but the driver was a standout!!! Being the gear junkie i am i can't remember what came next for me but know the G10 is yet to be surpassed although people tell me the G30 is meant to be tasty !!!!! :D
