Anti-loft? Negative loft?

I found out last night that my old Ping Anser 4 putter had somehow become bent to the extent that when the shaft was vertical to the ground, the clubface had negative loft on it which might explain why I couldn't get any consistency with it.

Still, never mind, after 90 minutes of putting and discussion with the pro I am now the owner of a Scotty Newport 2 :D

I really wanted to like something a bit less pricey but there is definately something about Scotties that make them worth the money.

Zach Johnson (I believe) uses a putter with very little or no loft. Note how he sets up with his hands not ahead of the ball.
Putters are a very personal thong and the general condition and speed of your home greens should influence your decision IMO.
Hope the Scotty works for you.

Paul McGinley said when we met him at Wentworth that loft is your friend, even in his putter. Can't beat a Scotty good luck with it.

What was the Lavender Park session like. What putters were there to try and how much did it cost. Is it worth thinking about
