30 years for me. Gave it up at 19 and only took it up again at the wife's suggestion. I'm happy, the wife's happy and so, apparently, is the milkman.
Played 18 holes a week after the August bank holiday and then stopped as my mum was on her way out and dealing with the inevitable distress once she'd gone. Played one round before Christmas, 9 holes on Boxing day and that has been it. Had some lessons but unheard of for me to be this long off course. Hoping it'll be fully open so I can start getting into it again

Last game a week before Christmas and have gone weeks without playing but as long as I get down the range once or twice a week in the winter, I remain relatively calm and bearable to live with.

At present not played since end of November and think that was 1st time in about 3 weeks so really only 1 game since October due to weather and injury and yes it sucks
3 years for me,sometimes wonder why I started again!...........

Apart from giving the game up for a few years, many years ago, I last played in October and am now not allowed to play until July. I'm not even allowed to go to the range.........................so that'll be eight months then.
