What's the length of your course?

Its Houghwood mate. I would have been happy with yours but my playing partner lives over the other side of town and it would take him over half an hour through town to reach the course. Houghwood is only 15 minutes from me and I like the set up of the course. The clubhouse seems popular (and has Wainwrights on draught), and there is a progressive feel about the place. They also seem pretty keen on attracting juniors.. I've also managed to wangle a bit of a deal as I know a few long standing members..

Tis a decent test of golf there mate. I enjoyed playing it and it works you hard! Some hills on there :) You will be fit as a fiddle walking around there every week.

The clubhouse was smart too and seemed like a good setup like you mention above. I would play it again.

6600 off the tombs, 6200 off the yellows.

First medal of the year tomorrow, first time off the tombstones too. Great. Cold, wet, no run. Joy.

Ours is 6329 off the Whites. Our 2 Par 5's are short but we have 4 par fours between 438 and 470 and another 5 over 390. Hard work when the fairways are soft.

The Hirsel, not the longest golf course, Dodgers place. You cant just fire away at a 320 yard hole thats tree lined with a tight dog leg for the last 120 yards.

Agree. How often do you look at a card somewhere you haven't played before and see a hole like that and think hmm maybe a birdie chance, then when you get there and stand on the tee (or walk off the green) you realise it's actually a real card wrecker. :(
