Where's on the shortlist Danny, anywhere I'm familiar with :)

Its Houghwood mate. I would have been happy with yours but my playing partner lives over the other side of town and it would take him over half an hour through town to reach the course. Houghwood is only 15 minutes from me and I like the set up of the course. The clubhouse seems popular (and has Wainwrights on draught), and there is a progressive feel about the place. They also seem pretty keen on attracting juniors.. I've also managed to wangle a bit of a deal as I know a few long standing members..

:thup::thup: Sounds good mate.
sometimes a few small things make all the all the difference, a clubhouse has got to have good beer IMO.

You'll like bolton old links.. Wainwrights and Flat Cap on Draught :cheers:

And I'm working straight after!!! :sbox:

Got your E Mither mate, am at work at the moment but will reply tonight or in the morning. Looks good to me though and that weekend is the most popular choice anyway..

We have two courses one just over 6200 off the whites par 72.

The other is just over 7000 and a par 73, this course is a real brute with a lot of water too.
