Hi there just looking a little bit of advice, I have been looking at taylormade R11 irons, but I was just wandering what's the difference between them and taylormade MC irons????

Do you mean the CB irons. The MC are a MuscleBack. The CB were released at the same time about a year before the R11 irons. To me having tried both I could feel or see any difference shot ways. Only in appearance, they changed the black bolt to red and the grey/carbon designs became white.
R11 are going for a low price (£375 in my pro shop) at the moment although are not changing as far as I heard from the TM rep that I heard discussing orders with my pro.
Only R11s driver changes to R1. The rest of the range remains.
RBZ range complete change.

Actually there are MB, MC and CB (all Tour Preferred)

Should probably add that they all have different loft specs - for example the 6 irons are 29,30 and 31, because everyone seems so facinated with that.

I know but he asked about MC to R11 so I was just checking did he mean CB almost identical to R11 or the MC which is the Muscle Cavity.
I didn't think they still made the CB after the R11 were released.
Just thinking I know a 4Hcap guy selling a set of MC with DG S300 in them.

If I remember right , the r11 are cast, the cb are forged

Tp cb are the r11 equiv but have different shafts ( both cavity back )
The mc are a muscle cavity
The mb are a muscle back or blade

The cb was dropped on favour of the corporate r11 branding but most staffers still use mb or mc...

I've got the latest CB's... Very good clubs that can be picked up at very decent pricing

Aside from the issue of cast vs forged (not opening that can of worms) they are visually pretty similar. I hit the R11 better which is how I ended up with a set for 8 months but once I got my gameback the Tour Preferred were superior. It will take something special from TM and I'm doubting that's going to be be the Rocketbladez Tour version for me to look at another set of TM and my net is being cast further afield
