The Ping TFC 149D shaft in regular, ( 55g and a torque of 5.8 whatever that means )

and the Ping TFC 700D shaft in regular ( 60g and a torque of 4.6 )

Both are designed for a swing speed of 80 mph + , so why does the K15 have the first, and the I15 the latter?

What is likely to happen if I asked for the K15 with the 700D shaft or the I15 with the 149D shaft ?

Me ?

Confused ?

It's my normal state of mind tbh. :o

I'd imagine that the head of the drivers are slightly different weights/balance so they are optimised for those shafts. I'd just take the K15 and run, especially if it takes a terrible swing to slice it.

The torque is basically how much the shaft resists from twisting.
A shaft with a torque of 1 or 2 will not twist as much as 5 and above for example.
The faster you swing, the more the shaft will tend to twist, so with a slower swing, you dont need as much resistence
A 4-5 torque will twist the same at a slower speed as a 1-2 at a fast swing speed.
I would suggest you try a few clubs and see what feels good, gives you a good distance and goes straight.
Then find me one too :D
