I've been salivating at the thought of it.

The only thing I'd want to change is the dessert - Creme Brulee for me please.
It was only issue with it. But I'd happily eat it.
Other option for me was tarte tatin

Id go for the straight golf society day menu :-

Starter - Bacon roll & coffee
Warm up to the grand finish - Big Cooked Breakfast
Finished off with - Ham, Egg and Chips
And a party gift of a voucher for a Macys McFlurry on the way home

Starter salt & pepper prawns

Mains I'd have to go for new Zealand roast lamb, veg and all the trimmings

Dessert probably a rhubarb crumble with cold custard (from the fridge) or ice cream

Disagree strongly! Fruit is health food and desserts are meant to be a treat. Anything involving fruit is basically breakfast.
Seems like a 'Public School' sort of attitude (and a certain Pink Floyd tune sprang to mind)! Have you considered that making desserts a treat was/is the best way to convince reluctant children to consume healthy food?
