Hard to work out just what you're saying here.

Saturday, monthly medal and you shot an 88 less 12. Did you return the card on Saturday after you completed the round ?

If not, why not ? If you didn't return a signed card it's a DQ under 6-6b

Sunday, was this another comp or just a bounce game ? Sundays round has got nothing to do with saturdays round and resulting score. If it was a comp, then card has to go in.

Agree with all of the above, get it in. If you don't put the card in then what happens next time? Fair-middling round and that one doesn't get put in either to keep the shot?

A handicap is a reflection of ability, get your shot back, go out, make a good score and you'll be back at 12 in no time.

If it's Sundays card you're referring to, and you've played the pre-requisite number of qualifiers in the past 12 months, then they can't put that card in as a supplimentary score. If you've played a minimum of 7 (I think) qualifying comps then you can't put in suplimentary scores.

You can't be cut on one round as a 'general play' revision either :D

To my (tiny) mind you have to stick all comp cards in NR's and all. As others have said the handicap is a reflection of your ability and so if you are getting shots back then you clearly aren't playing well. Why hang onto the extra 0.1 to keep it at 12 when you'll get more chance of a cut back to 12 anyway with an extra shot to play with

Who cares? Just keep putting your cards in and see what comes out and then play that h/c. You will win some and lose some.

I'm a bit puzzled as to why you would not have handed in a competition card anyway?

If you are short of cards for the year for some reason, then hand in the other one and see what happens. But if you've put in plenty of comp cards, I doubt your handicap secretary will do anything other than bin it.
