Come on then guys what's the best umbrella out there ? Im looking for a new one now, Want something that is sturdy in yhe umbrella holder of the trolley.

or should I get fitted for one ? ;)

You need to be fitted for the umbrella. If the shaft is too stiff, you won't be able to open it, but if it is too flexible, you'll get soaked. Maybe a Tour Issue one would be worth splashing out on? Remember, Tiger's umbrella may say Nike, but it is actually made by Samurai craftsmen in a secret location in Japan.

It's not the shaft you need to get right (unlike clubs), it's the grip. Too smooth and you'll never be able to hold it securely when the rain starts but too rough and it will tear your hands to shreds

You lot are bonkers, I knew this was a bad idea. ...lol

:)

Oh.....you wanted serious answers? OK, Motocaddy do a nice one that has windbreaker panels and also a see through panel so you can see where you are going. Think I paid about £35 for mine

Don't Woodworm do three for a £15 or something about that. Not sure if they are any good but using three umbrellas is sure to keep you dry, just not sure how you hold them all.;)

Get a dual canopy one may.
Maybe a touch more tricky to get fitted for
Other than that what about stevies exclusive special design! Only if your feeling flush its about 80 notes!

Motocaddy clear view is what I'm looking at the moment. Is the idea that the double canopy lets the wind through and so doesn't blow inside out if you know what I mean!

Dunlop from sports Direct £8. Obviously you'll loose a few yard compared to the TM offering but still a decent brolly.

was looking at the clearview too, looks a good umbrella mine sits quite high on my trolley so was wondering if this one would allow it to sit a bit lower.

Gokart umbrellas are very large, dual canopied and sturdy. Worth a look, surely
