Thought we'd make a forum list of the things people are currently working on in their swings to see what are the most popular.........

I'll start (with a couple of mine.......).......

1) Slight weakening of my grip.
2) Slightly steeper plane.

1) weakening my grip.
2) swinging round my body more.
3) coiling up more.
4) turning hands just after impact.
5) completing follow through.

A lot to work on for me... ha ha

Swinging the irons with the shoulders turning on a more level plane rather than the shoulders tilting.

1. Relaxing my grip more
2. Club head alignment at address (often too open)
3. A smoother and slower tempo
4. Getting a fuller shoulder turn
5. Concentrating on my belt buckle coming through to point at the target after impact
6. Trying to keep my knees more 'solid' whilst trying to do all the above

Alignment
Taking the club back lower to the ground [3 wood]
Completing my backswing[impossilbe for me ive given up on this one]
Spinning the globe[love that video]
putting, after my putter fitting i have been putting very well and
im finally putting in some practice, just trying to be smoother.
And finally ive been trying to lock in some distances, especially with
my wedges, really has helped and now im getting lots of birdie chances.
Probably 5 or 6 hours practice last week.
Still not using a driver, but i feel that will have to change soon,
so i will be working on this next.

I am working on : Hitting down into the ball, taking divots, and sliding my hips during the downswing.I have been thinning it quite a bit so I hope this routine helps!

Being less shut at the top. Its my only swing thought and its been the same for along time. If I get square at the top this game is a doodle. When I get shut I can hit the ball anywhere within about 200 yards of my target!

1. The feeling of "extending" my arms through my follow-through to help stop my hands swing too close to my body (and round my body) which causes the occasional pull and if I'm REALLY lucky (;)) a pull fade (if my old swing creeps in).

2. Keeping more centered, mostly on my drives, to stop too much weight getting forward and getting my body ahead of the ball. Really trying hard to keep my body behind the ball and when I do, it pays off.

That's pretty much it. Happy with everything else, just need to work to improve consistency. Went for 9 holes last night and hit some lovely shots, but also hit some shockers which ruined my score (an 8 on the par 4 5th being the main culprit!)

Irons for me this week - going to work on:
-Tempo
-weight shift
-taking the backswing back to a level left arm. Every bad Iron I hit on the weekend was due to overswinging. When I remembered that left arm level is plenty I hit good shots.

Keeping the club slightly laid off and not across the line
Turning aggressively with the hips and feeling on top of the ball with steeper angle of impact
Feeling as though the clubhead is travelling left through impact and not down the line

Hmm there are some people working on a lot of things at once here.... One thing at a time people, your men, one thing at a time.

I am working on timing/tempo, in doing this I can sometimes work on swing width just to help with the timing.

everything!!! specifically posture and swing path and after yesterdays awful round its gonna take a while!!!

Almost put all my gear on ebay last night :(

Nothing... For once I am happy with my swing and ball striking. Played yesterday morning and it was the most pure feeling strike I have had in ages. A very happy man sitting here!
Lets see if I can carry it in to tonight's twilight medal and will answer the question again tomorrow :D

1/ Swing path so I can re-produce an in to out, out to in and in to in on demand!
2/ Staying relaxed and supple through swing to generate speed rather then tensing up and reducing speed.

(I managed this once at the weekend and hit a smashing drive - sadly it was far too long and went OOB!!)
