what should be in the bag (beginer)

hi,

i have been playing golf now for around 6 months, i asked my pro at my local golf club about buying a 21 degree hybrid to go in my bag as i have already got a 24 degree hybrid and an 19 degree hybrid so i wanted some thing to fit inbetween! he advised me not to buy one but instead get rid of my three wood and 19 hybrid and replace it with a 5 wood! i was just wondering if you guys would agree with this or would go down a different route?

I am replacing my 3 wood and 18 degree hybrid with a 4 wood (17 degree) my next club will be a 22 degree hybrid and may get a 24/25 degree hybrid to replace my 4 iron

It depends what driver and other clubs you carry really

i carry a 10.5 degree driver then a 15 degree 3 wood then a 19 degree hybrid then a 24 degree hybrid then i go to my 5 iron

sounds alright for gaps tbh. depends what distances you hit the 19 and 24 and how much is left in between. As a beginner (like me) I doubt there is much more down to consistency than anything else
