If performance is equal, the Adidas out of those two but partly because you've picked a particularly ugly traditionally styled option...

Both. Depending on what else I'm wearing. Why does it have to be an either/or question. I have some nice classic FJ's. I also have some Puma "trainer type" shoes. They both go well with different styles of clothing.

I bet that they fit like a glove and all that... but they are brutal looking.
Better quality than the Footjoy Icon that is for sure. Anyway besides the point I have just used them to illustrate the traditional Vs trainer shoe conundrum. So make your choice.

I have and wear both, although my "traditional" style pair (FJ Sport) does still have flashings of modern around the heel. My Nike Lunars are the most comfortable pair I've ever worn.

I like both and will keep wearing both. No need to choose.

There's always one ;) I'm just trying to gauge whether there is a shift in trends towards the more trainer type that is all. It's not life or death.

I'm more of a traditionalist so the top type shoe, thought not those as they look Fugly.

If i lived somewhere warm and try poss the others, but i don't;)

Here's the best looking shoe on the Lambda site...

My grandad has "trainers" like that, however with Velcro fastners, he is in his 80's and i suspect he orders them from a saga type catalogue.

For me its the trainer style of the two, however, i think a a decent shoe is a good look also. but i am young and trendy and that... LOL
