what is your favourite golf hole (that you've played)?

The 10th on the Old Course at Sunningdale and the 1st at Macrihannish. Both fantastic.

And yes, I know I need more than a putter for my tee shot there...

Snelly, are you hiding a cowellesque high waistband by chance? ;)

Really difficult question this.

Dodger will agree with this one, 110%

The OLD 8th at Rothesay was probably the best par 3 in Scotland, maybe even Britain!!!!

I like the 3rd at Machrihanish, its a good strong par 4. The 6th at The Machrie is a stunningly good hole. Tough par 4 and can vary so much depending on the wind. The 7th at Turnberry is a cracking par 5 and is often overlooked despite IMO being one of the best holes on the course.

Too many good golf holes to mention.

Quite possibly. I have got waterproof trousers on and they are a bit long so get hoiked up a touch!

Ah the 8th at Rothesay!!Cracking, cracking hole until it got butchered sadly, that said I love the 12th on that course as the views are spectacular and hopefully those views will be on show on Sunday....I intend taking plenty photaes over the weekend and hope to post some on here.

Wow so many to choose from but a few that stick out ...

1st hole at St.Andrews Old Course - just for the emotion of being there. The 17th and 18th are damn awesome experiences too.

The par three at Hopeman on the Moray Coast - Presiach I think it's called - amazing drop down into the bay.

The 592 yard 9th at my home course at Pyrford. Water all down the right and then into an island green normally into the wind.

10th at Turnberry from out past the lighthouse - downwind when I played it so driver and wedge.

6th at Carnoustie - only birdie I had all day there off the championship tees.

10th at The Belfry - rest of the course is horses***t and totally over-priced. But that par four is excellent.

Cruit Island, Donegal. 6th Hole 150 yards.

The tee is on the edge of a cliff overlooking the wild Atlantic. Green is on a peninsula...you shoot straight over (into) the ocean

A wedge with the wind at your back... a wood into the wind.

p.s the wind can change direction by the time you walk from bag to tee !!!

No pictures but Google it,then play it....trust me !!!

10th at Turnberry is pretty special.

18th at Carnoustie is a great finishing hole - made a rock solid par there which gave me an inordinate amount of satisfaction having seen the mess that others much better than I had made of that hole.

I really liked the 1st at Aberdour. The weather isn't normally like that and the water is a lot closer than it looks. A nightmare opening hole.
