A skied drive is a good call, not so much for the shot itself, but the fact it leaves a scar on the club that will mock you for ever. :(

i was playing a round by myself and caught up the 3 ball in front of me so joined in.

one of them did the above and was forced by the others to play the rest of the round "tackle out" as forfeit.

this further reinforced the importance of teeing ball up correctly for me.

Duffed chip.

Two of your best shots to cover over 1/4 of a mile and then dunch one a foot in front of you.

I'm not a club thrower but this one pushes me close.

Heard of this if you don't reach the ladies tee, but only until you reach your drive. Tackle out the rest of the round will get you arrested, and worse than that would put me off my game. I wouldn't be able to see the ball. :D

2 answers, depending on whether I'm playing it or watching it.

Ugliest shot if I'm playing it is a thinned approach from up to about 130yds. The worst of it is you know it's a horrible shot, but it doesn't look too bad to your partners and you know it has a chance of turning out ok because of all the backspin on it. Worst result is normally just off the back but you know it was terrible.

The one I hate watching, is the stiff-bodied armsy swipe at a tee shot where the guy almost comes out of his shoes.
The ball starts about 50yards left then slices back to the fairway about 150yds straight down the middle.

I know he meant to do it, but I just hate watching it.

Sorry, what..? You were forced to play the rest of the round with your knob hanging out?

What the hell for?

I am mystified :D

not me, one of the lads from a group that i joined up with when i was playing as a single. i meant to say the hole, not the round as preivously noted.

it's not a custom i was previously aware

If anyone stated that I had to play with my chap hanging oot would get a two word reply, the second of which would be 'off'.

Why not go the whole hog..? Hit a bad putt, now you've got to jam the toe of your putter up your arse and use it to draw a turd Hitler moustache on your top lip.

Hit a bad chip? Now you've got to drive a tee through your scrotum.

Now, back on topic... The ugliest shot is one played with your cock hanging out.
