What is the ugliest shot in golf?

There are plenty of them out there, thinned sand shots over the green, duffed chips that you get under and they move 3 foot, the air shot is pretty hard to watch, the dreaded shank. What for you is the ugliest shot in golf to watch?

Faced with a 150 yard carry over a lake, the fatted 5 or 6 iron that splashes into the water about 50 yards away, followed by a divot the size of a small island takes some beating.
It looks even worse if you are 3 down with 4 to play

Ive had the shanks a few times, to me it is an awful shot but there is nothing more disappointing and uglier than thinning the ball through the green, it doenst happen often but guaranteed it will cost more than a shank.

haha yea a thin shanked bunker shot that hits te lip at 3 oclock and rolls back down a few inches giving you an impossible shot. What dreams are made of!

I was thinking the thinned greenside bunker shot that has everyone ducking for cover as your ball arrows over the green into the crud

Couple of other nominees

Those 15 inch putts when the putter face doesn't seem to want to square up and the ball goes past the right edge.

When you go for a big, open the shoulders, full blooded drive, and hit the ground 6 inches before the ball.

Has to be a fat. Can cope with anything else but a fat, nothing worse than seeing a steak-sized divot go further than the ball giving the impression to anyone watching that you have absolutely no idea what you are doing. A shank or thin can make me laugh, but a fat gives me the rage.
