What is the point of a post on this Site?

Back to the original question 'what is the point of a post on this site?' Not entirely sure really, can't in all honesty say there is any point to it at all.

"What made matters worse was when a guy who knows a bit about golf, he plays off 3 said it was a 2 piece ball."

Ah so this guy only knows a bit about golf ! How do you know he knows about the golf balls bit ? ;)

If they're knock-offs it will be easily seen when you use them. The will not respond like a bonafide Pro V1, they will not last as well and will not spin as well.

I am confused as to how the OP's friend could tell by hitting one ball that it was two piece? I think we need to test this guy on 2, 3 & 4 peice balls, a bit like the pepsi challenge but with golf balls ;) he could win a prize if he scores well.

To do that he would need to be hitting forged blades, ideally something obscurely Japanese, like Miura or fourteen, with a blind fold on and some ear plugs (or an ipod playing loud bhangra music to help his mystic focus).

Que the latest chancer and a link to 'genuine pro V1's 100 for £50 buy now real bargain'
''Hi guys I stumbled across this amazing bargain above and just thought you all might like to know about it''

Anyway, you guys have done it again and ignored the O.P

The point of a post is just a very simple way to comunicate with everyone on here. Thats pretty much it really. You can spice things up a little bit by adding smileys such as  would probably suit you a little better right now.

Why do people come to forums giving a story behind something and not expect people to comment on that story, in this case,by way of advising a possible naive person about the pitfalls of e-bay and the risks associated with buying from certain places.

I thought everyone was in fact being helpful based on the post. Why tell us about e-bay if you know it all? Why tell us about china if you know it all? If I want to know specifically about a ball I wouldnt have to put more than..."Pro V 1 can someone tell me about them?"

...next to Rooster's YPA or Black Sheep.

Black Sheep is always on the list whenever I go down to Newcastle for a night on the toon. Apart from Deuchars IPA, we Scots haven't much to be proud of in the beer department (author ducks in anticipation of attacks from fellow Scots defending their country's brewing output).

I'm with minty.

It's Bruce Willis we want to be talking to...shame he died saving the world.

Oh well it's because of him were here now to be able to have this discussion!

He was a good actor and a good man....
