For me, I was playing a round at Slaley hall with my dad, who is 74, we had a buggy, but from the off it didn't seem very healthy. Sure enough it started going slower around the 6th and stopped bar a crawl, on the 7th, walking was faster.

No one told us we could phone the club house to get a replacement driven out to us, so we pushed the buggy back to the club house and the only way we could get it to move was me at the back pushing but holding the head of my driver in my right hand while using the handle to press down on the accelerator, which freed up the motor so the wheels could turn. Those buggies are not lite.

Anyone else had some odd uses for their clubs?

Cheers
Dave

Don't know but my TP's aren't fit for purpose at the moment as they seem to have a fault on them causing the ball to slice.

Have you checked if the battries are flat. prise the small rubber plug from the end of the grip and you will find two AA batteries, when they get low you will notice a fade or even a slice start. Replace the batteries to regain a Draw.

WARNING!! Some fakes and non conforming clubs have no battery compartment and this can lead to the golfer hitting consistent off centre shots. Please pass this advice on to Tiger if he pops in for a cup of tea or casual sex.

A titleist dci 5 iron is the perfect length for putting between the cupnoard and the washing machine door whose latch has gone and so, to complete washing, needs this addition - i reckon it needs regripping.

Where is Tommo21 when you need him?

He used a putter to stun a dangerous dog. Great story. It was him against the dog, eye to eye. Mind you, it was probably only a miniature poodle.

I turned the head of a Dunlop hyrbid into a trophy mounted on a marble base for the lowest scorer over the of the year in my fourball. Unfortunately I won it :(. Now use the shaft as a tour stick.
