What you worried about, you've only lost one. The DVLA have lost thousands of blank ones :D

If you have lost it it can be replaced for £10 but you need the V5C cause it has a reference numvber on it for the car.

Canny find mine, think it runs out mid April so what do I do?

How do I find out when it does run out and will it cost me anything to do so?

Go back to the garage that did the MOT. They will have a copy

If you reckon it was mid April you had it done last time, go back to the garage that did it last year and book your car in for another MOT.
It will automatically start the new one from when your old one runs out (as long as it's not in about 6 months time!)
Simples

To have an MOT running on from the previous one you can't test it more than one month before the current one expires.

The other new thing is tht DVLA know whether you have an MOT or not. They also know if you have insurance. Makes getting a new tax disc much easier.

That's why I mentioned "If you reckon it was mid April".
If it was late April, early May, then he couldn't get it done

I usually lose mine within hours of getting it done. Not a problem in my book. If I get asked to provide my documents one day, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Go and get it tested a week or so before you expect it to be due, if you are a few weeks early, nowt lost.
