what is it with PING??

There's no need to use 4 letter words. I'm expecting to be inundated with offers from the S word now I've reached that age. The urge to turn to the dark side and the P word is being resisted though.

I started it I think, ages ago, back when there were only a few of us on here.

My reasons being that my dad has always played ping for as long as I can remember. If my dad plays ping, it must be for oldies as he's now 79.

I always assumed it's because growing up, everyone's Dad or mates Dad's had a set of Ping's, usually Eye2s, my mates Dad still says they're the best clubs ever made.

I guess I thought it was because they are an unsexy brand. Now dont get me wrong, they make some pretty fine clubs but they are not sexy.

Also with the easy of use and so on of some of there irons I thought it went along with the theam.

P.S. S56 are sexy and totaly out of character

P.P.S I have a ping putter, I spent ALOT of time picking it out and now want a Scotty so I dont count myself as being part of the Ping thing.
