so me getting all excited about getting my 1st cut to be told no more cuts till next year, unless you outright win on the day then its a 1 shot cut, gutted was an understatement

I assume that you are talking about a special handicap system for your winter non-qualifiers. Under CONGU rules your handicap cannot be reduced for winning a competition.

100% spot on. UK winter parkland golf is just some exercise in the fresh air. Will never and can never be anything else.
