What do you need in your bag?

How the hell do you end up with 50 balls? I only go out with about eight, and I never find more than 2 or 3 decent ones that are worth picking up. If I added up all the balls I own, including not in the bag at home, it probably wouldn't be a lot more than 50.
Misses says I'm not allowed to pick up and bring home any more lost balls

Probably a post winter phenomenon . Over winter I play with pickups so don't use my own and find more than I lose.

I have more pick ups for winter use and decent premium balls for competitions than I'll ever need. Offered some to my pro to sell off cheaply at £1 per ball with my cut going to Captains charity but he's not interested and can't be asked to put them on e-bay/facebook and all the crap from idiot buyers haggling or asking daft questions

About to go on a trip
47 balls
3 reading glasses
4 pitchmark repairers
5 ball markers
5 pencils
Only 2 gloves
1 Hat
Assorted tees including broken ones
6 old score cards
Only a couple of coins

Things are improving except for the balls
Mostly pickups that I'll never use.

I have 5 bags and they all have the same contents:

9 Balls
1 pencil
1 ball marker
1 pitch mark repair tool
2 gloves
1 sharpie
1 club brush
1 towel

Plus an accessory bag containing:
1 pencil
pencil sharpener
rangefinder
spare rangefinder battery
plasters
paracetamol
hay fever tablets
watch pouch
tees

Grab the accessory bag, chuck it in the chosen bag, add clubs and off I go...

What for?
They were put in my bag and forgotten about, can't remember why they all went in but usually to find out the Stroke Index to work out when strokes are given in a match.

Oh and if an unknown course to check on local rules

I have so many questions but I’ll settle for the most confusing ones to me!
1) 47 balls why, and why not leave the majority in the boot of the car to replen when required ?

2) 3 pairs of reading glasses again why? Surely you can only wear one pair at a time and don’t need to carry all
3?

My bag has in it:
12 balls - already pre-marked up
2 Gloves
20 Tees, never more or less, I’ll just snap one if I need to shorten one and discard it at end of the round if I don’t lose it playing.
Rangefinder with Spare battery in its case

An accessory bag which contains:
1 Pitch mark repair tool
2 Pencils
2 ball markers
Club cleaning brush
Zinc Tape

Anything else just seems excessive and cumbersome! But again 47 balls 🤨

It's accumulation because I don't clear my bag rather than intention.

Most of the balls are found balls because I tend to find more than I lose.

I use reading glasses rather than prescription ones when I arrived I am often wearing them or have them in my pocket as I need to read something. I stick them in the bag and sometimes forget to take them out.

For tees I actually only need two heights short for everything except driver and usually orange castles for driver, but I pick up other complete tees meaning to give them to others and forget.
