What Ball do you play with

Me n'all, I really like them. Although at the moment, I'm trying to work through the two dozen Nike PD distance that I won on an outing. The greens are so soft that I'm getting them to stop dead, so there's no point using anything else.

Yup, think they're a cracking ball and cleared my pro out of his stock of six dozen last month.

Imagine Prestonfield would be pretty soft at this time of year so aye, no point in using premium balls imo. Pumphy is the same... greens are very receptive, as are some of the fairways that can near suck a ball clean under on landing.

I am a big Srixon fan. They have more golf ball patents than any other manufacturer and I think they make superb products. Although I use Z stars of whatever flavour (XV mostly) I am thinking of trying the AD333 after an ex club pro mate said he loves them. Titleist Pro V1 and V1x are my go to ball if I am short and need something that everyone stocks tho.

I will generally just use any "decent" golf balls I can get on a deal
Sale, close outs, previous years model, just never pay top money, no reason to, there's that much choice out there...

I play with an NXT Tour from Titleist. I find them fantastic to hit.

I used to think it made a difference, now i play whats cheap or on offer. Usually that's TM Rocketballz, Wilson DX2/3, Titleist Velocity are my "choice" balls of late.

I did quite like the AD333 Tour, but mainly as it felt nice putting.

I've been using almost the same only swap the velocity for the NXT Tours S

Main thread between them being I like a fairly soft feel for chipping. Short game is important to me as I'm not a long hitter.

i tried them out when our greens started to soften up (Pro V/equivalent started spinning too much) and was massively impressed with them. Didnt really feel any different to the Z Star.

If it's cost neutral I'd go with the titleist. The nike rzn black feels a little clickier off the putter.
Performance-wise I cannot seperate them.

I prefer the rzn platinum to the black, not as clicky.

If I have to pay for them, normally Srixon AD333 or Titleist NXT Tour. If I find them, any premium ball. Donnays, Dunlops, Top Flites, Srixon Distance and Pinnacle Distance balls get thrown back into the rough or pond where I found them.

Normally use Wilson DX2 Soft, I have a relatively slow swing speed so these fit me nicely
This morning I tried a Callaway Super Soft and thought it was nice too, a bit more expensive than a DX2, but still much cheaper than premium

I was using pro v1/x I bought via ebay but if/as/when I get back to playing I will go back to AD333 as probably the most consistent ball for my crappy swing
