What are you working on this winter ?

Might have a swing MOT but am going to practice my putting and bunker play as both have been so hit and miss these last few weeks.

Getting better with the driver and putter. Need lessons on both, and desperately need to improve at both, especially the putter. Last 2 rounds I've played I've putted AWFULLY. Need to work on it over winter.

Nothing, same as last winter and the one before and so on. If something niggling creeps in, irrespective what time of year, I'll do a session or two on the practice ground.

Depending on the results of the 4bb and foresomes knockouts I will be taking a break - seriously over golfed this year and in danger of loosing the enjoyment.

keen to lengthen the swing a little and cock the wrists correctly. would overall like to be a little closer to parallel with the driver shaft.

LOTS.

Had a lesson today...and what I thought was a lovely natural swing, was an awful in and around the body swing, nasty.

Will just carry on regardless like many folks, trying to keep my game going as the weather deteriorates. Will continue to work on making a draw my stock shot (been at it for 2 mths now) but essentially just happy to get out. Will try to drag Jr out and away from his XBox on a few occasions as well despite my fears he's now surgically attached.

Fitness.. Got the Windermere Olympic Triathlon and a few other cycle races/events next Summer. Hopefully, this increased fitness/strength will help the golf.. If not, then at least I'll feel better about being rollox at golf..

For the period up to Christmas, I'll be working on getting fitter, losing some podge, putting some muscle on, and stretching in an attempt to become more flexible.

Into the new year I'll have a lesson or two and go from there.

I tried this for 25 years - clearly I didn't try hard enough :)

Consistency. Building a consistent swing with predictable results. Hopefully, this will bring some boring golf for a change. Just want to make the game easier

Strange one for me as I feel as if I've played some decent golf but I've managed to go up a shot.

Having taken the plunge and moved to a links course, i'm going to take as much advantage of the "year round" golf and get some on course practise.

Will also need to start expanding my shot repertoire seen as it can get a bit blowy!
