Lifted this from the Road traffic Act

A dog (as well as a goat, horse, cattle, ass, mule, sheep and pig) does come within the remit of the Road Traffic Act and is a reportable accident so you are required by law to report it to the police.

Is the correct answer, they were apparently the animals considered to have some use or value to an owner when the Act was drafted and therefore have to be reported, so cats are therefore officially useless…...

Unless you want to decimate the local bird life/frog population. My 4 cats are pretty good at that so useless seems to be a bit harsh.

With this area being flooded with deer - a couple of guys used to go around looking to hit them and the one person behind picking them up then selling the meat off.

So that's ok then is it?

Speeding up and driving recklessly to kill an animal for profit get the thumbs up from you?

You really should have a word with yourself about your double standards

The thumbs up was for the post I was replying too - ie I was agreeing with what he said

Thought that looked pretty self explanatory

Ok, forget about the thumbs up.

But I'm still looking for your post showing your disgust at the behaviour of these guys who drive around obviously driving recklessly and breaking speed limits to kill an animal for profit or are you going to tell me now that these deer just stood still in the middle of the correct lane waiting for someone driving around on or under the speed limit to drive straight into them.

No? Didn't think so

As I quite like the local bird population and don't want to see them decimated, they're still useless in my book. I think the official version was more of a commercial value when they made the Act.

I just made a post about what some people were caught doing in this area

That's all

I didn't say I agreed with what they were doing FFS

In a purely commercial sense I'm sure you could skin them and make two sets of (non-matching) slippers from them. That would have to be worth at least £10 of anyone's money. And then you've still got the rest of the cat to mince and put into Tesco value pork pies.

EDIT - Other supermarkets are available.

The only live badger I have ever seen ran out in front of my car........

Was I supposed too ?

I would have expected someone so vociferous in their opinion of speeding and speed limits to show disgust at that behaviour.

You really do contradict yourself over a multitude of threads, maybe you should think before you post instead of what seems like posting for postings sake.

Bye now

I posted a statement about what people have done in this area - that's all

How the hell is that contradicting myself when I offered no opinion on it !!!!!

To clear up any confusion - I have reported one post in my whole time on here and that was yesterday

You can ask the mods to confirm that

Sorry to let the facts get in the way of a good story for you both

Or, you could make a head cover for your driver.
