Looking forward to some real world class golf this week. I believe the worlds top 50 are here (apart from Oosthuizen)...

Hope to see Tommy Gainey up there and maybe Mcilroy having a return to form...

It was an exciting tournament last year so hope it lives up to it again...

Last year was a good renewal with an exciting finish. Mahan is missing the event also due to his new born child, an interesting sub-plot is that 11 of the last 13 US PGA Championship winners have finished inside the Top 25 at the Bridgestone, the exceptions were Vijay Singh, who had won four times that year, and Phil M, who had won three times that year. If you put much stock in this things, I am a fan of positive trends like this myself, not negative ones though, like no scottish open has won the open, which was a meaningless stat when you thought about it.

Always a good event this one, don't be surprised to see Tiger up there in this one as much as it pains me to say it.

Hope we see a good bounce back from Westwood this week.

 Typo?

firestone not the most tedious course on tour? i find that every single hole looks exactly the same, mainly because every single hole is exactly the same.

well it seems like that to me, but i'll still watch...

I'm another in the camp of thinking this is the dullest course in tour and would rather watch the Reno Taho open! Though I will watch it.

Just hope the hooter isn't constantly sounded and that on Sunday night, a play-off isn't required!

Anyone having any e/w bets? If so, who? Hopefully Betvic are paying 8 places again.

Think he's about 45/1. Has been playing some consistent stuff recently so a decent e/w I agree.

The biggest value for me is Zach Johnson at 55/1. Those odds will surely drop. Snedeker at 22/1 has value to for an e/w. My outside shot is Matsuyama at 66’s. He'll either be miserable for 2 or 4 rounds or score consistently for 3 and then the 4th will be a lottery...

Sorry it is a typo of sorts, mean't to say like the no scottish open winner has won the open, which was a meaningless stat, perhaps should have put had instead of has as well, anyway hopefully you get my point
