Played west Kilbride yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed it. The course was looking great and the clubhouse excellent. Definitely recommend it to anyone that's in the Ayrshire area.

Pro was friendly and any members we spoke to we're chatty and accommodating.

Stood on the 13th tee 1 under and then the wheels came off :-(((. Finished +3 off the whites.

I played junior golf with Ian Darroch, he has the patter and is a decent lad, was the best putter in the world as a junior, he would have given Ben Crenshaw a run for his money.

I'm not a huge fan of the first 5 or 6 holes at West Kilbride but it really livens up after that and the back nine is phenomenal. I also really like their fantastic practice facilities plus great greens and views. It's the club that I'm most seriously considering joining next year. The food in the clubhouse was also good value the last time I was there.

Yeah we had one coffee and two bacon rolls all for £4.50. Ian was behind us giving a playing lesson, lovely wee course and as you say the practice facility is ideal.

Course looked great and you'll be making a good decision to join there!!
