Me and some mates were at the Open and although we never had any burgers we were quite shocked when it turned out that 5 pints in the pub after the golf cost less than the 4 tubs of ice cream we had earlier in the day.
Ever wondered just how much these Concessions pay for their pitch at an event like the Open ?
You should come to my hospital. We are only one of a handful of hospitals to have an on site M&S or similar. Happy days if you want snacks, sandwiches etc but a killer if you are a dibetic like me. Much cheaper than the other food outlets around the trust though and always packed so I guess they must be raking it in over and above whatever they pay to be there

I was at the Open at Royal Lytham in 1996 (I think it was) and a sausage and chips was £4.75.
I didn't have one.
