well? i went to st andrews thurs, and i was at turnberry last year.
I had forgotten how expensive the day was last year, only to find everything was MORE expensive this year!
I mean, its a great day out, i love it an all, but there seems to be an element of....well their in here now so, lets charge them a fortune!!
Its the same at t in the park.......aaaaaaaarrrgh!
Opinions?

Very true, it was a 'Gourmet Burger' van :D

I remember when the European Open was at East Sussex National, they had a mobile McDonalds, that was much easier on the wallet.

A mobile McDonalds - quite brilliant!! The fat chavs can have it delivered - like Ocado but with more calories.

Does it have a jingle like the ice cream vans?? Perhaps a song by 'The Streets' would be fitting..

I remember when the European Open was at East Sussex National,

You HAVE been golfing for quite some time then! :p

I think a cheeseburger at ESN costs about £6.50 now, they're lovely! Comes with salad + chips + coleslaw to die for :p :p

Tennants - now that's a proper lager!!

Many years ago, whilst working in Croydon, I used to travel through Thornton Heath at 7:30 on a Saturday morning. Without fail I'd see a black guy strolling along sipping from a can of Tennants Super T - LEGEND!!

Mr T with balls!! :)

Yep, I started golfing while at ESN after starting there as a caddie. I was 13 when the European Open was there. The best part was watching Monty shank his wedge into the bunker on the 6th. It made me feel better about my game! :D

It's changed a lot since then though, the massive hotel for starters. It's been a couple years since I last played there.

Nah not a van, it was more like the Mizuno tour lorry in size. The Streets jingle would be good or something from Pete Doherty maybe? :p

Of course - a tour van sized mobile McDonalds - we must get this on Jeremy Kyle post haste!! It'd become a mecca for the people of Chatham, Croydon, Reading and Liverpool.

Come forth you lowly people and worship at the altar of Maccy Dees from the comfort of your own front lawns!!

Would it cash giros as well?? It'd be the finished article then..

And I distinctly remember seeing that fat little piggie Fanny Sunesson sitting down on a bench next to it scoffing two big macs with fries and two milkshakes. I guess she needed to keep her strength up lugging that bloody great bag around.
