Played a round with HID's brother today and for the most part was a good day.

- Dropped 8 shots off my last round at home and ball striking was ALOT better. Still the odd spray but better all round.

- Would have been an even better score had I capitalised on the two drives that I left less than 60 yards from the hole instead of thinning two wedges through the green (on consecutive holes)

- 3 3 putts as opposed to 11

- Played bogey golf on the front 9 and started the back 9 with 3 pars on the bounce, which was nice.

- Did lose a few more balls than I'd have liked though.

- R11 behaved (for the most part)

Also tried out the R11 3 wood and TM Rescue and the titleist 910 3 wood and hybrid. The R11's were OK but was really impressed with the Titleist efforts. The range I tried them at was well nice as well.

I'm not even upset I lost an hour's sleep this morning.

Shot a 91 (par 71), and it wasn't for my handicap. Was supposed to be playing a handicap round today but HID's brother made a surprise trip down so just went round with him.

I think your destined for better things,anyone who says that
he's sorry for his write up ,scores more brownie points with me from now on,I get fed up listening to all tha twaddle and meaningless crap when all I WANT to do is play

Well now the clocks have gone forward, you have no excuse. I'll be continuing to use the range until I've filled out my "loyalty card" which entitles me to a free round at their course, but after that, my "golf evenings" will be spent down the club, playing 9 holes and using the outdoor practice facilities they have there.

card lasts me a week at pete cowans ,500 balls ,at 20 quid its like Im a junkie.I played 9 holes today and I was quite
good,but this is no time to brag.as you say longer days are

No point being negative. Did that for 10 years and it got me nowhere (only managed to get down to 17 at my lowest)...Got to channel the positive thoughts.
