Point wasn't about GM it was about the media in general, the articles on Davis ,Hutsby and Laird were all good reads but Scots don't seem to get the same exposure in the media , papers and tv. Am not coming over all Braveheart here just staing a point IMO.

Until some of your English 'superstars' actually win a tournament of note (major or WGC event) then you haven't got much to shout about either.
Laird and Ramsay have performed well in recent weeks, why not just wish them well?

I think Laird was starting to get a bit of recognition when Setanta were doing the coverage especially when they had Coltart in the studio. I do think Laird is starting to play well but its such a tough school over there even to stay in the top 125. I hope he can get some big money under his belt early on so he's not worrying about his card and can go out and play with some freedom. I guess our English dynamo Sam Hutsby is in a similar position although not such a good weekend for him. Get the card sorted first and kick on.

You'd like to think so but they talk about him nearly as much as if he was playing. Personally I think it is disrespectful to the players who are playing.
