First time in months that I haven't had a game of golf on the weekend... thinking about it, I can't even remember the last time I didn't play on the weekend!! Whilst the course is open the amount of rain that is falling is just not worth me getting soaked for a non-comp day.

Was supposed to be playing scratch semifinal but that'll have to wait until next week now, let's hope the weather gets a bit drier.

It's so horrible today. They reckon 10 days worth of rain today so there could be a lot of course closed for a couple of days if it floods everywhere. I'm going to use the time to clean all the clubs and stuff.

Anyone , and I mean Anyone, playing around here at the moment must have been the first Brain Donor......
Its absolutely rank out there and has been since midnight.
Still, plenty to watch on the box!

Same here, course closed though. Making a Christmas pudding instead!

Was supposed to be playing crowborough beacon today, it's closed and if I'm honest I'm pleased. I didn't fancy a 4 hour soaking

Working today so golf out of the question.
It was nice earlier on, flat calm and not a hint of rain. Annoyed that I couldn't play in the Stableford comp at Cooden.
Now it's chucking it down again and could put Wednesdays game in jeopardy.
Poxy weather

poor soul- hope theres a support group to help you. All the best

Funny enough its a really lovely day here, bright sunshine and about 12 deg already.

My mates were playing at 8.20 but i didn't get up in time. thank god for that.

just going to watch the golf on TV, then take the dogs out

Nice day also this morning in central Scotland, but alas am working so no golf regardless of weather.

Tue to Fri off this week so will try get out on one of those days. Just to try keep the swing going.

Course closed but we'd already decided the forecast was such that no play likely today. So watching the lucky so and so's in the sunshine on TV. Quick trip to the range and home for the F1 and footie...

Hit the range earlier but couldn't get into it so a waste of time. Feet up in front of the sport this afternoon as the wife is doing roast beef and all the trimmings and home made apple pie and custard for dinner

Glorious in the north west this morning, got out for a round at my place and hardly a breath of wind, pretty mild and sunshine :)

Its been a good weekend hasn't it mate. No golf for me though. Over your neck of the woods yesterday walking the dog in the dunes at St Annes, a good day out

I might try and pop to the range later.

Perfect for it, nothing like what golf at the end of November should be!!

Still playing pretty well too, not quite as nice today as yesterday, would've been nice down the beach.

Played yesterday morning, i was too warm with just my base layer and a polo shirt on!! The ground was wet due to overnight rain but we had a good round!

Today again would have been perfect!

I played today knowing it was a waste of time. When will I learn that with 6hr solid overnight rain and constant rain all day I would have been better off with a lay in and a bucket of balls at a local covered range.

On the plus side the .1 back means I'm only giving 11 shots and not 12 in next weeks KO match!
