Weekend golf for non members

just a bit of moan, my group of friends and i are not members anywhere, so come weekends when we fancy a game, its really hard work to get a half reasonable tee time.. its really frustrating! i know obviously that members take priority as they have paid X hundreds/thousands to join the club and deserve priority.
However, it bugs me that clubs dont leave a few tee times at good times for non members.. whould it be hard to have say 3 times before lunch times that were fist come first served for non members to try the club/course?
I live in an area with 4 good courses within 3 miles of my house, and the stage in my life now, it is not an option to join anywhere at present...

Rant over, well it wasnt even a rant...

anyones club do this? anyone suggest anywhere in west berkshire where i can get a good tee time on a sunday even!?

No priority for members at my place. You book your tee time first come, first served. Member or not.

Same here. Bookings open on the Friday before for weekends and first come first served AFTER any societies and hotel guests!

At ours, 2 tee times every 90 minutes or so are reserved for visitors when there isn't a comp on.

No visitors playing alone at all at our place at weekends and each member can only sign one guest in before 1300.
