Whilst no attending and someone who has organised many “away days” and weekends away at our Club the simple answer is get the money up front.

It is difficult enough organising a meet, arranging times, groups, foods diets, night before accommodation etc. All the majority have to do is cough up. Please consider the organiser when saying yes. If unsure why comment with statements I may be able to attend. There are no favours with the latter.

Sniffy was out of pocket the other year.

Just a reminder that the club is being very accommodating for us, both in respect of the day…as Tuesday is not a group/society day and my request had to go to committee for approval, and the cost.

They are giving us up to ten tee times but being completely flexible about how many we take but need to know this week as they have to do a special reservation of the tee over times that are normally for members.
On top of that they are giving us a great deal on the cost, essentially about a 35% discount on the standard weekday round rate.

The club is only doing this given most playing are playing H4H the next day and the club and committee recognises the great work of the charity and is keen to support the efforts of the forum in raising funds for it. It would be great if we were using all ten tee times thereby maximising what we raise to add to the efforts from the next day at Hankley.
