washed my gud pair of GG trousers, have washed other ones before (cheaper in sales) but first time washing expensive ones. washed as said on aftercare etc, wont know till the next time it rains but fingers crossed theyre fine.

Only wash with soap flakes ...or specialist cleaner ie nikwax (all good walking shops) .....and normally a warm tumble dry is a good idea!

Just soap powder and a tumble dry. Definitely no conditioner. They will be just like new next time you get them wet.

Clean detergent tray. Then wash on a coolish wash using nikwax cleaning agent.
keep in washing machine and add nikwax waterproofer.
Then take out of washing machine, drip water right through the house and place in tumble dryer on a low heat for 20mins.
Job done, do my paclite & pro shells roughly every couple of months.

yes soap flakes at 40 then dripped around the hoose then tumble. just nervous as they are dearish trousers

As others have said just make sure there is not softener anywhere in the washing machine....and they will be as good as new.... just dont wash them every week!

I find a slightly damp cloth helps he dust stick

As above. Have the Alf Trousers and the Atos Jacket. Follow the instructions and they will be good as new. Very pricey pieces of kit but worth it IMO

defo bought a pair of mizzy imperalite but seem to thin ie wont keep me warm. gg alf troosers nice and warm with just a pair of chinos below. i will get my moneys worth out them. last sunderland goretex suit lasted 10 years (and is still going about my course)
