Wanted set for lady beginner

One of my wife's friends is attending the local "get onto golf" sessions and is on thr look out fir a starter set...


What's out there?

I think I have a set of Mixuno JPX800 irons with Exsar IS4 60g lite flex shafts somewhere.

5-PW with tour velvet grips.

There were HIDs from a few years ago.

Yeah, thought as much but just pit them in the mix. HID kept her woods, wedges and putter.

Although I might have a 32” Fisher swan neck in the attic somewhere.

Not sure you really need a full set. My wife has been playing for years with only about seven clubs - a driver, a wood, a hybrid, a 7 iron, two wedges and a putter. She doesn't need anymore because she doesn't hit far enough or consistently enough.

Indeed, "set" was in a loose sense of the word, although the response above was because it was "just" irons..

I'm seeing some reasonable stuff on ebay for £150. I just bought a great set for another of Donna's mates for under £100 and included a bag.
