Hi guys,

Just wanted to check to see if any of you received your complimentary £10 Onlinegolf and £50 Your Golf Travel vouchers after entering the Volvo Matchplay Championship. I recevied my confirmation of entry email in February but don't seem to have received anything after that.

If you di can you let me know the name of the sender as it may be that I'm just being a tad blind.

Thanks in advance.

is this the same Volvo matchplay that seems full of glossy high end golf courses and being treated like a pro, only to play some scruffy oiks at a muddy 9 hole at the are end of Bolton?

I've entered again this year but if they treat the competitors like they did at last year Scotish Final at Barassie then I'm out. As Hendo will vouch the course was unplayable and the conditions were a farce. They put money ahead of enjoyment.

Possibly................if you are playing in the "Northern" section.
We down South tend to have courses of much better pedigree, with greens like velvet, and irrigation systems fed from underground springs so only the best Volvic or Perrier mineral waters are used.
I have entered both the singles and the betterball, and my butler is on standbye to act as my caddie.

My valet is always happy to caddie but gets really disgruntled when I send him out to trim the greens with my nailscissors, hope we get drawn against one another then we can discuss just how good it is down south whilst the staff do their bit.

toodle pip old boy

Wouldn't mind getting drawn against you Rob, would be good to have a catch up. Although I'm guessing they localize it a bit more and as I'm now in Essex chances are slim we'll be drawn together. That being said, god knows what age I was when I last saw you. I came by with Carol one Christmas to pick up the kids and you thought I was Trev! Think I was about 16 then.

I'm sure Lydz will caddie for you!
