Almost as stupid as Detori getting banned for taking coke...if it was the horse, fair enough!

I'm surprised there's even a drugs banned list, being on speed or something will turn you into Ben crane, and Ben crane never wins!
 
I think anyone who goes to the degree of spraying anything "every couple of hours...every day" on themselves and was "looking forward to some changes in their body" is quite simply unbelievably naïve, stupid or attempting to get away with something.

At the end of the day he has attempted to artificially improve his body by using a anabolic hormone that stimulates muscle growth to improve his performance. Whether he thought it was under the radar or not is irrelevant to me, its a performance enhancing agent and his "intent" is indefensible!

Anyway, I don't think he expected this amount of growth...

I think he has been very naive. This stuff he has been using is snake oil of the highest order. He has also been pretty open about using it.
I think that if you were setting out to intentionally cheat then:
1) you'd use something that actually works.
2) you'd keep it a secret.
 
He's pulled out of the Waste Management event in Phoenix citing a leg injury. Probably picked up in the rutting season. It seems strange he has pulled out as this story comes to light and it begs what next for his career. It isn't the first time he has been the subject of controversy

Old Denis Pugh saying this will end his career, if thats the case there goes his chance of cleaning up titles on the champions tour.

How did this come to light though as they said the steroid in Deer Antler spray isn't on the list of tested for substances by PGA tour even though it's a PED
 
I'm sure I read somewhere - can't find it now - that Mark Calcavecchia was warned off this back in the 90's.
If so it must have been pretty common knowledge amongst the Pros so Vijay's been a bit of a Dunce....

Could be the end for him....

If thats the case then he's been a very stupid man, and if he won those majors with it begs the question what will happen. If he gets stripped of them are they classed as nonevents as surely they can't award the title to who came second and who'd want to be awarded a major based on this.
