Anyone on here using one??
I've been used a Mizuno mp fli hi 2 iron for years. Works well and gets out there plenty. My course doesn't allow me to use a driver much.

I fancy upgrading to a newer model possibly with graphite shaft. Any recommendations?

Seen the king cobra utility iron, looks decent

Thanks

I uses a Mizuno H5 3 iron which is great and gives a lower ball flight than my hybrid alternative. Use steel in mine but guess there is a graphite option.

Mines is fitted with px 5.5 which I am fitted for.can hit it high and low which is great. Because it's such an old model I feel as if I'm missing out on something lol. The graphite shafts must make a difference as they are putting them in them now

Srixon Zu45 utility iron. Mine is fitted with the stock stiff graphite shaft and it is a cracking club, carries about 15 yards further than my old mizuno fli hi 2 iron.

I've played the Srixon ZU45, the Fli Hi, Callaway Utility, 712u, UDI, DHy, Wilson FG Tour V4 and a few others! (Think I have a problem). Distance was very similar across the board but there were differences in feel and trajectory which would be the main factor for me with this sort of club.

If your old one does all you want I don't think there is a massive gain to be had from the newer ones unless you do fancy changing the shaft?

I'll admit the Cobra looks good though...

I used to have the older mp hi fli 2 and tried the new one recently and TBH i preferred the old one, far easier off the deck than the big hulking sole on the H5

If you haven't already would recommend Titleist TMB.

Much narrower sole than others and really easy to hit. Much prefer it to the Mizzy ones and TM UDI.

Will be adding more to the bag.

My pp is selling his t-mb 3 iron. Its in new condition as he used it in the range and couldn't hit it for toffee.
Personally i thought it's a great club

I have the Ping Crossover in the 3 iron, have it fitted with the Tour 90 reg shaft, have to say I love it, goes 230 - 245 and is a great option off the tee

I'd second the ZU45, I've not long had mine and I've got them in 18 and 23, lovely clubs, look great and perform great.

3rd, its the best club in my bag right now.

However, I have herd only very strong comments on the Titleist one, not only is it uber but its good looking too. My advice was the really good ones are the Srixon, Callaway and Titleist ones are really good.
