The first at one of my local courses is an uphill 190 yard par 3 from the yellows. Right is OB. I despise it.Put every one of them in the bin!

Think it’s the 4th at Swinley as well10th at Hillside is a beauty
4th at Sunningdale is too
Having said this this is probably the weirdest uphill par 3 I’ve played.11th at Gloucester Golf Club 180 yards steeply uphill, called the Ski Slope as it runs parallel to an artificial ski slope which shows the severity of the gradient. Just checked it online and the Pro Tip suggests leaving it short to give you an uphill chip.
Truly bonkers.
Think it’s the 4th at Swinley as well
As Rory said … ‘play better’
A par 3 should be a challenge, not an easy opportunity to make a par.
Rory also said his favorite par 3's are around 150 yards. I never did get the push for 200yd+ par 3's years ago. You can make a 130yd hole into a real butt clencher if designed right. As Rory said … ‘play better’

Uphill holes of any description should be put in the bin.
All 18 holes should be downhill. Have some sort of cable car to bring you up to 1st tee, and then play the course down a big hill back towards club house
