Well, for those of you who tuned into episode one, My slice, you will be pleased to know i am virtually slice free. And it was all done with out the aid of your very good advice.
See, i went to the range, concentrated on all that you pointed out, weight transfere, arms close to body, shortened back swing and after about 500 balls..... i was still slicing (but less i must add)
So, what did i do to to cure the slice i hear you think?
I bought the Callaway FT-I square driver
10 degrees loft draw bias regular shaft.
I could not believe the results from even the very first shot. I tried the taylormade r7 and a new wilson square driver too but both did not suit me.
Last night i took it the range and instead of concentrating on trying to hit the ball straight, the only thing i had to think about was trying to beat my longest drive, 220 approx.
So it is fair to say that i am more than pleased with my new driver and cant recomend them highly enough. I know its early days but already my most feared club in the bag is now my fave! Video too follow in few weeks.
