Unwelcome playing parners

Perhaps - but maybe not. Worse things happen at sea..besides…I’d also be playing with at least one of my few club besties and I don’t get to do that every week. In fact i only occasionally get to play a full round with my club bestie - and that’s ok as we chat before and after however the draw pans out.

My Saturday Roll Up is my only regular weekly knock and the group is about 50 strong - usually 25-30 each week. I get on well or well enough with all, with only one or two I’d perhaps choose to avoid if given a choice even though I get on well enough with them…but I always accept the random draw.

And I accept that down in Surrey I may not be everyone’s cup of tea…some folks find argumentative Scots who speak their mind a right pain
