I need the help of someone young please.
This seems to be the latest thing in watching films, tv etc.
If I read it correctly, you upload your digital media to the Cloud, then the people nominated by yourself (up to 6) can then watch that media if they have the PW.
Is that right?
Does anyone on here use it?

Bob yes you are pretty much right, services like GIVIT etc are cloud media storage guys where you upload a movie and email invites to your selected mates/customers I believe.
I use a service from wetransfer.com to shift massive files to our satellite companies and their customers. Movies could be uploaded that way too and you download the movie at the other end rather than stream it.

Torrents use many sources to download a single file from which you download portions from each source (improves download speeds).
Dropbox would be more similar though.

Yes except with dropbox you will need to download the whole file from there first then play it on your machine. Streaming is when you normally play the file from its original location...in this case the cloud which is just a generic term for a computer/storage/server/etc somewhere remote, on the internet - not at your house.
