The Hawkstone Course is stunning, that big par 5 going down through the Folly's

Yeah that’s a great par 5 , don’t think there is one boring hole on that course , each one you had to thing about and it wasn’t a course where you just step up and smash driver

I really enjoyed Goodwood golf and hotel. Pretty good deals to be had there too.
Beat deal if you don't care about good accommodation is Farthingstone. Course and food good.
Neither of which are an hour from Birmingham, but not sure if that's still a requirement.

As far as I know, Farthingstone is due to close in May, course has been sold off for Caravans or something ridiculous....

I emailed Hawkstone for a quote today....they were very quick to reply.
