I've a mate, at my home club who lives in the States and comes over here a for 3 or 4 months every summer. We were talking about comps and who we were playing with that weekend and metioned that he couldn't play in any comps due to him having an American Handicap and they have not been able to resolve the difference so could now no longer play in comps.
One of the other guys i know has two handicaps (lives in Spain) one European and one UK.
I didn't know you were allowed to do that... but its an interesting one.
what would you do if yo were going to play in a comp outside the UK??
