It's called progress in my IMO. Look at all sport equipment & clothing. It's all changed drastically in the past 20yr. Why should golf be any different?

The TW14's are, without question, the best, most comfortable golf shoes I have ever owned. Have owned most FJ's some Puma, Adidas etc.
The ones displayed are the 'id' range, their equivalent of 'myjoys' - design your own, the standard ones are black or white.

Barely modified football boots
I have them too And agree that they do make your feet sweat. But on the flipside they are so easy to clean. Mine are a year old and still look newGot the TW13s.
Very comfortable, look like they come on prescription and don't let your feet breathe at all.
Good winter shoes though, think your feet would get roasting in the summer.
