Sky have very cleverly and wisely virtually "embedded" themselves with the European Tour by covering every event they stage. The tour & the pros know this and the Beeb now play second fiddle to Sky's blanket coverage. First interview, it's always Sky.

In my own opinion Sky also have a better and more knowledgeable team both on and off the course. I do like many of the Beeb's team too but they're no match for the Sky blokes as a whole. Shame "Golf Night" expired, though.

Yes, adverts bug me too. Pain in the proverbial. Price you pay for more cameras, hours of coverage etc.

Sky coverage + Ken on the Course would equal perfection.

Are you talking about Ken Brown, the man that played with no personality for 20 years, and then reinvents himself as a skinny David Bellamy ?

No he means the great Ken Brown who was talented enough to be picked for the 1979 team, but was so outrageous that he ( and Mark James ) were fined and banned for refusing to wear the team blazer.

Rebel without a cause?

Damn right !!

What would Casey pay to have that kind of personality, eh?
